Morgan Heights is a tiny farm town in northeastern Colorado's prairie country, about 75 miles from Denver via I-76. Highway 14 runs through town connecting Fort Morgan to the west and Nebraska to the east, while Highway 52 provides north-south access through the South Platte valley. The surrounding area is classic Great Plains agricultural land with corn, wheat, and cattle operations. The town still has its original 1920s railroad depot building from when the Burlington line brought grain shipping to the area.
