Morgan is a small farming town in southwest Georgia, about 20 miles northeast of Albany via State Route 37. The highway connects north to Columbus and south to US-82, the main east-west route through the region. Most visitors come from Albany, driving through open cotton and peanut country. The town's historic downtown preserves its agricultural heritage in a compact commercial district.
