Moore Station is a tiny East Texas community of 155 people in Henderson County's pine woods, about 75 miles southeast of Dallas. Reach it via US 175 east through Athens, then local roads through forested countryside. Most traffic comes from Athens (15 miles north) or connects via Highway 31. The town was named after a railroad depot that once shipped East Texas timber.
