Moore is a tiny farming town in southeastern Idaho's Lost River Valley, sitting along US Highway 20 about 25 miles northeast of Arco. The community of 228 people serves the surrounding ranches and potato farms in this high desert landscape. Most visitors are passing through on Highway 20 toward Idaho Falls (75 miles southeast) or heading to Craters of the Moon National Monument. Moore holds the distinction of being one of Idaho's most isolated incorporated towns, completely surrounded by empty sagebrush desert.
