Moody is a small farming town of about 1,400 people in McLennan County, 20 miles southwest of Waco via Highway 6 south to Highway 317 west. The area features rolling Blackland Prairie terrain with working farms and scattered oak trees. The painted water tower displaying the school mascot serves as both a local landmark and Friday night football rally point.
