Moody is a small city in eastern Alabama, about 20 miles northeast of Birmingham via Interstate 20. Exit 158 connects directly to town, making it an easy drive from the metro area. Highway 411 runs north-south through the city, linking to surrounding communities. The area sits in the Appalachian foothills with rolling terrain and mixed forests. Moody operates one of Alabama's few barrier-free Miracle League baseball fields for players with disabilities.
