Montrose is a small farming town in west-central Missouri, about 85 miles southeast of Kansas City via US-71 and Route 52. The main routes are Route 52 connecting Clinton to Nevada and Route 18 running north-south through Henry County. The area features rolling farmland with corn and soybean fields under a continental climate. The town's century-old grain elevator towers over the landscape, still serving local farmers during harvest season.
