Montpelier is a farming community in northwest Ohio, 45 miles west of Toledo on US Route 127. Most visitors arrive via I-80/I-90 to the north or from Fort Wayne to the south. The town celebrates its railroad history with an annual Locomotive Festival featuring a restored 1944 steam engine on permanent display in the town park.
