Montgomery is a tiny farming town of 301 people in south-central Michigan's Hillsdale County. Reach it via State Route 99, about 30 miles south of Interstate 94 from Jackson or north from the Indiana border. The area's rolling farmland supports corn and soybean crops, and the town features a historic one-room schoolhouse from 1876 that still stands today.
