Monrovia is a small Indiana town of about 2,000 people, located 20 miles southwest of Indianapolis in Morgan County. The main route is State Road 39, which connects north to I-70 and south to Martinsville, while SR 142 provides east-west access. Indianapolis International Airport is 25 miles northeast via SR 39 and I-70. The town's highlight is its historic 1887 covered bridge over White Lick Creek, one of the few still carrying traffic.
