Monroe is a small farming town of 1,100 people located 15 miles south of Corvallis on Highway 99W in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Take Exit 195 from I-5 at Junction City and head north on 99W for about 10 miles, or drive south from Corvallis. The town sits amid grass seed farms with views of both the Coast Range and Cascades. Monroe's annual Territorial Days festival in August actually stops Highway 99W traffic for its main street parade.
