Monango is a tiny farming community of 18 people in southeastern North Dakota's Dickey County. It's about 60 miles southwest of Fargo via I-94 and Highway 1, or 45 miles northeast of Aberdeen on US-12. The town sits in classic Great Plains wheat country with wide open prairie views. Despite its small size, Monango still operates its own post office.
