Mogadore is a small Summit County city of about 3,800 people located 15 miles southeast of Akron along Mogadore Reservoir. State Route 43 provides the main access, connecting north to Interstate 76 for easy travel to Akron, Cleveland, or Canton. The reservoir, built in the 1930s as part of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, serves as the town's centerpiece with fishing, boating, and a popular swimming beach.
