Mitchellville is a tiny Tennessee community about 35 miles northeast of Nashville via I-65 and Highway 52. With under 200 residents, it sits in rolling Sumner County farmland along Bledsoe Creek. Most visitors arrive from Nashville or make shorter trips from Gallatin. The town's claim to fame is its location along historic Bledsoe Creek, which flows toward Old Hickory Lake.
