Mission Hill is a small farming town of 200 people in southeastern South Dakota's Yankton County. Most visitors drive Highway 52 from Yankton, 15 miles southeast, which also provides access to Chan Gurney Municipal Airport. From Sioux Falls, take I-29 south to Highway 50 west, then Highway 52 north for about 85 miles. The town sits near the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area on the Missouri River, making it a gateway to some of South Dakota's best camping and fishing spots.
