Mineral Point is a small Missouri town of about 300 people in Washington County, reached via Highway 21 about 90 miles southwest of St. Louis. The scenic drive takes you through Ozark foothills and connects to regional routes toward Potosi and Ironton. The community sits in former lead mining country, part of Missouri's historic Lead Belt that once supplied much of America's lead ore.
