Mineola is a small East Texas city about 80 miles from Dallas, sitting where the prairie meets the Piney Woods. Take I-20 east to Highway 69 north from Dallas, or Highway 155 south from Tyler for a quick 25-mile drive. The town sits at the crossroads of several state highways and houses the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in a restored 1920s train depot.
