Minco is a small farming town in central Oklahoma, about 40 miles southwest of Oklahoma City via US Highway 81. The community of 1,600 sits in rolling prairie country where agriculture drives the local economy. Most visitors arrive on US 81, which connects north to El Reno and south to Chickasha, or via State Highway 37 running east-west. The town's historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding wheat fields and remains a working piece of agricultural infrastructure that's visible for miles across the flat landscape.
