Milton sits in southern Wisconsin about 40 miles south of Madison along Highway 26. This Rock County city of 5,700 lies amid rolling farmland and connects easily to I-90 via Janesville. The downtown features the unique hexagonal Milton House Museum from 1844, which served as an Underground Railroad station with a hidden escape tunnel.
