Milton is a farming town of 43 people in northeastern North Dakota, 15 miles from Canada. Take Highway 5 west from I-29 through Langdon, or drive north from Grand Forks via US-2 and Highway-5. The town sits in wheat country with a continental climate of cold winters and warm summers. Its massive grain elevator towers over the prairie, visible for miles across the flat landscape.
