Milton is a small farming town of 500 people in southeastern Iowa's Van Buren County. Located along Highway 2 between Mount Pleasant and Keokuk, it's about 150 miles from Des Moines via Highway 34 east. The 1876 brick schoolhouse on Main Street now serves as the local historical society.
