Milnor is a farming town of 650 people in southeastern North Dakota, about 50 miles southwest of Fargo via Highway 13. The route takes you through classic Great Plains agricultural country with grain elevators marking small communities. The massive grain elevator rising above Milnor's modest downtown has served as a prairie landmark for generations of farmers and travelers.
