Millry is a small timber town in southwest Alabama's Washington County, about 25 miles from Mobile. State Route 56 runs through town, connecting to US 43 for access to Mobile and Montgomery. The area stays warm year-round with hot, humid summers. You can still hear the active sawmill operating during weekdays, one of Alabama's few remaining lumber processing facilities.
