Millington is a small farming community in Michigan's Thumb region, home to about 1,100 people surrounded by corn and soybean fields. Take M-15 north from the Detroit area or M-83 west from Caro to reach this quiet agricultural town. Most visitors stop here en route to nearby Frankenmuth, just 12 miles southwest. The massive concrete grain elevator from 1925 still towers over downtown and operates during harvest season.
