Millcreek is a newer Salt Lake Valley suburb of 64,000, incorporated in 2016 from unincorporated county land. I-215 runs along its western edge, connecting to downtown Salt Lake City in 15-20 minutes and Salt Lake City International Airport in 30 minutes via I-80. State Street and 3300 South are the main local routes. The community sits at 4,300 feet with the Wasatch Mountains rising dramatically to the east, and Millcreek Canyon Road leads directly from town into popular hiking trails.
