Milford is a small Texas town of about 1,000 people located 45 miles southeast of Dallas on Interstate 35E. The community sits in Ellis County's rolling prairie country and retains its agricultural character from its railroad origins in the 1890s. Highway 34 runs east-west through town connecting to Waxahachie, while I-35E provides the main route to Dallas. The restored 1902 Santa Fe Railroad depot now serves as the town's community center.
