Milford is Pike County's seat, tucked along the Delaware River near the New Jersey border about 90 miles from NYC via I-84. Route 6 runs right through downtown as Broad Street, connecting to the Delaware Water Gap recreation area. The town draws weekend visitors for river activities and fall colors, with several charging stations at the local Wawa. The Grey Towers mansion, former home of conservationist Gifford Pinchot, offers tours of its stone architecture and formal gardens just outside town.
