Milford is a small farming town of 337 people in east-central Kansas, about 20 miles northwest of Junction City via Highway 57. Most visitors arrive from I-70 at Junction City or from Manhattan via US-24. The town sits in rolling Flint Hills prairie along the Republican River, surrounded by wheat fields and cattle ranches. The original 1880s street grid and railroad-era buildings still define the town center.
