Milan is a small Indiana town of about 2,000 people, famous as the inspiration for the movie "Hoosiers." Located 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis and 45 miles from Cincinnati, it's easily reached via US Highway 50. The town sits in rolling farmland and gained fame when its tiny high school basketball team won the 1954 state championship against much larger schools.
