Mifflin is a small Pennsylvania borough of 400 people along the Juniata River in central PA's hill country. US Route 322 runs right through town, connecting to Lewistown 8 miles east and State College to the west, while Route 35 provides north-south access. Most visitors use 322 to reach US Route 22 near Lewistown for trips to Harrisburg, about 45 miles southeast. The town's 1900 stone arch bridge with three limestone arches still carries traffic across the Juniata River.
