Midway is a tiny rural community in northwestern Minnesota with just 35 residents, located in Mahnomen County between prairie and forest lands. Reach it via County Road 40 from Highway 200, which connects to Mahnomen (12 miles west) and Park Rapids (45 miles east). The town got its name from being positioned halfway between two larger communities along an old railroad line.
