Midway is a small farming community in east-central Alabama, about an hour from Montgomery via US 231 and State Route 110. With just 500 residents, it sits in cotton and timber country where Interstate 85 provides the main long-distance connection. The town got its name from being halfway between Montgomery and Eufaula on the old railroad line, and you can still see the original 1900s train depot that once served travelers heading to the Chattahoochee River.
