US Highway 34 runs right through town, connecting it to Burlington (15 miles southeast) and Mount Pleasant (20 miles northwest), while State Route 79 provides north-south access. The historic brick water tower from the early 1900s still stands as the town's most recognizable landmark, visible from the highway as you pass through.
