Middleton is a farming community of about 10,600 people located 20 miles northwest of Boise via Highway 44. The city sits in fertile Treasure Valley farmland with easy access to the state capital and serves as a gateway to central Idaho's recreation areas. The annual Harvest Festival each September features a parade of vintage tractors and farm equipment from the early 1900s.
