Michie is a small Tennessee town of about 550 people in McNairy County, accessible via State Route 22 from Selmer. It's about 90 miles east of Memphis and 110 miles southwest of Nashville, connected by US highways 45 and 64. The area has typical Southern humidity with hot summers and mild winters. The town was named after early settlers and still has the relaxed feel of rural Tennessee.
