Metuchen is a small New Jersey borough in Middlesex County, about 35 miles from NYC via I-287 and Route 27. The town sits on the Northeast Corridor rail line with easy access to major highways. Route 27 runs right through downtown as Main Street, connecting to Edison and Highland Park. Newark Airport is 15 miles away, and EV charging is available at the train station and along Route 27. Metuchen was once known as the "Brainy Borough" for having the highest per capita PhD holders in the nation.
