Merrill is a small farming town in south-central Oregon, about 15 miles southeast of Klamath Falls on Highway 39. The community of 800 people sits in prime agricultural land known for potato farming. Highway 39 connects to US 97 and Interstate 5 via Klamath Falls, with the regional airport nearby. Merrill hosts an annual Potato Festival each September featuring a potato cook-off competition.
