Menominee sits on Michigan's Upper Peninsula border with Wisconsin, connected by US-41 north-south and scenic Route 35 along Lake Michigan. Most visitors arrive from Green Bay via US-141 to US-41, about an hour's drive. The twin cities of Menominee and Marinette share the historic 1877 North Pier Lighthouse, still active and guiding boats into the harbor.
