Mendon is a small farming community in western Ohio, about 15 miles southeast of Celina. Visitors typically arrive via US Route 33, then take State Route 707 north into town. The village sits amid flat farmland typical of the Great Lakes Plains region. Interstate 75 lies 30 miles east near Lima for longer trips. The historic grain elevator along the old railroad line still operates today, serving local farmers.
