Mendenhall is a small Simpson County town of about 2,100 people located on Highway 49 between Jackson (60 miles north) and Hattiesburg (25 miles south). Highway 13 provides east-west access to Collins and surrounding communities. The town sits in rolling pine country with a humid subtropical climate.
