Melstone is a tiny ranching town in central Montana's Musselshell County, population 80. Take Highway 12 from either Billings (60 miles via I-94) or Great Falls (120 miles via Highway 87). The grain elevator towers over the prairie, visible for miles as you approach this agricultural community along the Musselshell River valley.
