Mellott is a tiny farming town of 195 people in west-central Indiana's Fountain County, about 15 miles northeast of Covington. Reach it via county roads from I-74 Exit 34 or US 231. The community centers around one of Indiana's smallest post offices, which has served local farmers for decades.
