Medora is a small Jackson County town of about 800 people in southern Indiana's rolling hills, roughly 60 miles north of Louisville. The main route is State Road 135 from either I-64 or I-65, with US 50 providing east-west access. The town sits along the East Fork White River amid farmland and woods typical of the Ohio valley region. Medora is home to the historic 1875 Medora Covered Bridge, one of Jackson County's few remaining 19th-century covered spans.
