Medora is a small farming town of about 300 people in west-central Illinois, roughly 45 miles from both Springfield and St. Louis. Take IL-16 west from Springfield or I-55 north to IL-16 west from St. Louis. The town sits in rolling prairie country and hosts an annual Corn Festival each September that's been running since 1979.
