Mediapolis is a small river town in southeastern Iowa, home to about 2,000 people along the Mississippi River bluffs. Highway 61 runs right through town, connecting south to Burlington (12 miles) and north toward the Quad Cities. Most folks commute daily to Burlington for work and shopping, while longer trips typically route through Burlington to reach Interstate highways or cross into Illinois. The town's community park sits on the bluffs with sweeping views across the Mississippi River valley.
