Media is a tiny farming community of 150 people in western Illinois, about 20 miles from Burlington, Iowa. You'll reach it via Illinois Route 164 off US Route 34, which connects the area to the Quad Cities and Galesburg. The town sits in classic Midwest farm country with endless corn and soybean fields. Media's claim to fame is hosting one of western Illinois's oldest county fairs each summer at the nearby Henderson County Fairgrounds.
