Mecca is a small farming town in western Indiana's Parke County, about 25 miles north of Terre Haute via State Road 59. Most visitors use this route to reach Interstate 70 or connect to other regional highways. The area features rolling agricultural land along the Wabash River valley, with typical Midwest weather patterns. Mecca sits near several of Parke County's famous covered bridges, which draw tourists to this "Covered Bridge Capital of the World."
