McKenzie is a small farming community in northwestern Tennessee, about 100 miles from both Nashville and Memphis. Highway 22 runs east-west through town, connecting to Highway 79 north-south. The area's rolling farmland and river valley climate support agriculture year-round. Each September, McKenzie hosts the Weakley County Soybean Festival, featuring what locals call the world's largest fish fry with over 15,000 pounds of catfish.
