McEwen is a small Tennessee town of 1,800 people located about 60 miles west of Nashville in Humphreys County. Reach it via I-40 to Exit 172 at Dickson, then south on Highway 70 through rolling farmland. The drive from Nashville takes about an hour, while State Route 13 provides north-south connections. McEwen's claim to fame is its annual Daffodil Day Festival each March, when thousands of naturalized daffodils bloom throughout town.
