McClure is a small farming town in northwestern Ohio, about 25 miles from Toledo via US-20 and Route 109. The village sits in flat agricultural country with a continental climate supporting local corn and soybean farms. Route 18 connects McClure to Napoleon and Fostoria, while US-20 provides access to the Ohio Turnpike for longer trips. The town's claim to fame is its annual Ox Roast festival, running since 1967, where the whole community gathers for a massive outdoor beef roast each August.
